Human Trafficking Awareness Seminar Today at Sac State

Sacramento State is hosting a seminar about a serious international issue- human trafficking.
It’s still going on right now from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. I’m not sure if you can just “pop in,” because it is $30 for general admission and $10 for students, but you might want to stop by if you’re on campus.
The event, “Hidden in Plain Sight: Human Trafficking in the Central Valley,” hosts speakers from the FBI and the San Jose Police Department. The founding executive of the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking will be in attendance too.
It’s being held in the University Union Ballroom.
