Western Festival offers free booths for schools

To help local schools fundraise, organizers of the annual Elk Grove Western Festival will feature a new “kid’s zone” at this years festival on May 1-2. The special zone will include school booths and rides for the younger ones. Schools and school departments are being offered a 10-by-10 foot space free of charge. Those interested in participating should contact carter@townplanner.com as soon as possible. Please include your school and department’s information in the e-mail. To encourage volunteers for the booths, each volunteer will receive a couple ride tickets.
